I was contacted some time ago by an executive responsible for the PR of the City of Claremont. He suggested I might like to "do" a couple of pieces about the place which is to the west of S/Bernardino and just inside the LA county line. I was given three sites and this was the second of them. It was a very interesting visit to the Botanical Garden which has been going now for 85 years. This is a statue of a giant preying mantis that is one of several large pieces around the gardens.
